Are you pondering what I’m pondering?

I need to ask you a serious question.

Are you pondering what I’m pondering?

That question might look familiar to you if you’ve ever seen the cartoon show Animaniacs (I think they just removed it from Netflix :/ ). They had a mini show within the show called Pinky and the Brain.

The show was named after two mice — one a genius (Brain, just to be clear) and the other insane based on how the theme song describes them. And every episode Brain would turn to Pink with thoughts of world domination and ask Pinky…

“Are you pondering what I’m pondering?”

And without fail, Pinky would miss the mark by a country mile with a reply like “I think so Brain, but if you replace the ‘P’ with an ‘O’, my name would be Oinky, wouldn’t it?”

And Brain would have to set him straight that his mind was on taking over the world (again). Classic.

Anyway, here’s why this is important.

I’m sitting here tapping my fingers like Mr. Burns thinking about you and I can take over the business world, thought it might be good to confirm you’re thinking about the same thing.

Actually, not just thinking about it but doing something about those plans.

I’m not just talk either, which is one thing I bring to the table that you don’t see often enough with other coaches and “gurus” you may come across online.

I’m still living what I teach as I go.

For example, I just finished the first 15 min of a 77 hour course where I’ll have to test to get certified after. It’s not going to be easy but I’m definitely going to take it down no matter what.

Once I get the certification, you already know it’s going on my resume.

All that’s to say there’s no time like the present to beef up your skills with something new or take a deeper dive on skills you already have. And if you think you already have the goods, then I can show you how to turn those into an interview-getting machine by the end of the week.
